The swedish chess club Wasa SK celebrates 100 years in 2017 and invites you to the jubilee tournament Hasselbacken Jubilee Tournament, which is played in the Mirror Hall at Scandic Hasselbacken at Djurgarden in Stockholm.

The tournament will be held on 16–17th of September 2017 and will also be Swedish Championship in rapid chess in cooperation with the Swedish Chess Federation. The tournament is played with 11 rounds FIDE Swiss. The tournament is ELO registered. The thinking time is 15 minutes + 10 seconds, FIDE standard for rapid chess.

The Hasselbacken Jubilee Tournament is open to all players from all countries. However, players without Swedish citizenship can not be awarded the title of Swedish champion and in victory or second place in the entire tournament a winning amount corresponding to the third placed player is awarded (7,000 SEK).

Entry fee:

500 SEK. Juniors born 1997 or later: 250 SEK.
